When a 300-plus room hotel was ready to renovate its property, it turned to CalFirst for financing. We structured a lease that covered nearly every asset (furniture, fixtures, counter tops and elevators) that needed to be financed and made vendor progress payments per the terms previously established between the client and their vendors. After that lease was approved, CalFirst provided additional financing for their back-up generators.
